So yeh, I know that I am REALLY REALLY lame at updating this blog. Since my last blog: Rae learned to walk, is learning to talk, and has amazingly turned into a KID before our very eyes. It's absolutely crazy. I know that's so cliche parent but I'm serious she's so big and it happened so quick.

Anyways, in other news, I don't even know where to begin. Life is spinning out of control. REALLY too fast! I am now working part-time with the family business to increase bookings. Although I was in no way looking for anything else to do it has been good to get my mental juices flowing. I mean it's great to use multiple syllables in each sentance.

We are so excited for the warm weather and for the summer to come back to us! The summer brings so much fun!!! Anyways, sorry it's been so long- here are some Easter pictures to enjoy :-)

Officially on the Move

So Rae is CRAZY busy and ALWAYS on the move these days. For some reason HER toys are no fun anymore but the dogs' toys are quite another thing . . .

I love this girl and it is SO fun to be her Mom! My Mom laughs every time she hangs out because she says this is payback time. She says that I was just as busy and just as mischievous- so I guess I've got it coming! :-D Bring it on Rae!

Fall is Here!

Hey guys! It's been forever since I posted last and so I thought I'd just give an update:

WE MADE IT THROUGH THE SUMMER! YAY! This summer was so incredibly busy for us! We were blessed with a house full of people and an agenda full of activities all summer long but it was EXHAUSTING!!! Matt and I started a linen company this summer which I managed and that was TONS of work! Our couches were always loaded full with laundry in its various stages. But the cool thing is that the extra money that we made with the business was enough to get a puppy!

We got a suposedly long coat German Shepherd puppy. Matt won the best husband of the year award for flying to Indiana and driving back with Koda Belle Toller. She is CRAZY! Sometimes I don't know what we were thinking- now we have 2 babies 2 months apart. Rae is 7 months and Koda is 5 months. This keeps me VERY busy! She's a very good dog but man does she have energy! I am constantly running after her and now I'm also running after Rae.

Rae is 7 1/2 months old and has been mobile now for a couple weeks. She does the Raezin scoot at a CRAZY quick pace! She can get across the room in a couple seconds flat! She also has cut her bottom two teeth and I think she's working on the top ones now. She is eating so well and is loving all the yummy things she can try now. She absolutely LOVES feeding herself because she's so independant! My Mom says that she is VERY similar in personality to me at her age. Which is not such great news for me- I was a CRAZY child! I think Rae is going to be just as stubborn and just as independant and mischevious as I was! She really wants to walk because this crawling thing is really holding her back from endless deathtraps such as the stairs, sharp objects and non-edible things she wants to ingest. She pulls up on things and can stand up on her own as long as she's holding on to something. She can also walk when you hold her hands. CRAZY! She is going to be walking SOOO early!

Swimming and Scooting

It has been forever since I posted anything but just in the last few days Rae has gotten the scoot down. I say it's a scoot because it is like a crawl but her stomach is still on the ground here is a video.

Also here is a video of my little fish swmming earlier this summer. She is doing a lot of the moving. When she gets excited she bites her lip and flaps her arms. I love this girl!

Life Update

So I am not super good about this blog thing, so I think it's about time for an update. This summer has been very busy. Our weekends are spent running around helping the family business and having visitors. Our weeks are spent catching up and getting ready for the next weekend.

Matt is still loving being a Real Estate agent! He is doing a great job following any leads that come his way. He has been soooo busy with work and trying to do house projects on the side. He just got to go to summer camp with our old church Waters Edge. He had so much fun!

Caeman got a summer haircut that looks GREAT! He LOOOOVVVEEESSSS it! I will have to post pictures- our computer has a virus and so I can't access pictures :-( Other than that he is doing super well!

Rae girl is 6 months old! I can't believe it! My mom says that she is VERY much like I was when I was a baby. Her favorite adjective to describe my babyhood and Rae's is BUSY. Rae is definitely always busy! She talks up a storm! She is eating baby food now which is so fun! She can sit up like a champ and she is REALLY trying to get the crawling thing down!! She's got the desire to be mobile but she moves more backwards than forwards. She's so much fun!

I am doing well. My mom and I went to visit my sister, Betsy last week. She is working at a summer camp- check it out www.swoutfitters.com. It was awesome to finally see the camp! Other than that I am running a linen service for the summer rentals which has kept me so busy washing and drying :-/

Life is good and is moving quickly at the Toller household!

Rae is getting SO big- I can't believe it! Here is a video of some of her favorite things: jumperoo, bouncing, and talking.

At her 4 month appointment we got the ok to start the solid food adventure with some rice cereal- here is her first bite.

Summer is Concert season

So reason # 2337947 why we love living in Virginia Beach: CONCERTS! It is AMAZING how many bands come to this area! We got tickets to so many shows this summer with our best friends, John and Leah. So far we've been to Coldplay

We have No Doubt, Paramore, The Fray, Doobie Brothers, Aerosmith, 311, and Ziggy Marley. It's going to be a GREAT summer!

I absolutely can't believe that our baby is already 3 months old! I'm having a crisis because that's a 1/4 of a year!!!! In no time she'll be running around the house! The amazing thing is that I am getting to enjoy EVERY second of it with her! Every day she's getting bigger and stronger. She's about 24 inches now and probably 12.5 lbs-ish. She's trying to sit up and can when propped up;

she LOVES to suck on her fingers, play with her tongue, blow bubbles and pull blankets to her face to snuggle; she's trying to roll over;

and doing push ups

she is trying SO hard to laugh and does grace us with lots of giggles and shreaks when she's super excited! Her feet are ALWAYS moving and she is very talkative!

I LOVE 3 months! It is SUCH a FUN age! Anyways, just wanted to give an update :-)

The Toller family is ALL about this 70 degree weather that we have been blessed with recently. So while we were gone it SNOWED in Virginia- CRAZY- we NEVER get snow!! And now a week later we are welcoming Spring! We have all been loving hanging out and Rae got to get her feet in the sand for the first time! Even Caeman is getting Spring Fever!!! :-) YAY for SPRING!!!

YAY! Finally all that hard work has paid off! All of the midnight feedings, the unmerited crying, and all of the poop has been wiped away with one toothless grin from that little thing! At only 5 1/2 weeks Rae began to smile from stimulus. AND at 6 weeks Rae is now sleeping 6 hours at night which means WE finally get some sleep- YAY! Opps I put one picture twice- oh well!

Winter fun in Winter Park

Matt, Rae and I had the chance to go to Colorado for a week and a half. Matt has done dj work for the Wells Fargo Cup for the NSCD (National Sports Center for the Disabled)Ski Race in Winter Park- his hometown since 1997. It is a GREAT race and we always have lots of fun! Check it out: http://www.nscd.org/programs/competition.htm.

This race gives us the chance to visit family and with the new baby the Toller family was VERY anxious for us to come! Rae not only met her grandparents; her aunt, uncles, and cousins; but she also got to meet her great grandparents! We had lots of fun and we even got to squeeze in some snowboarding, cross country skiing and our first date without Rae since she was born (thanks Momma T :-))

I have to admit that I was VERY nervous to travel with a month-old baby- but she did GREAT!!! What a trooper!!! Check out some pictures!!

Occupation: Stay at home Mom

So as of yesterday my resignation was turned in at work. So as of now taking care of this little thing is my full time job. Now this seems like it would be a piece of cake, but that is far from the truth! It seems like every time I have her fed and clean it's time to start over again!
Everyday Rae and I are getting better at life together and that is so cool! We are learning to work together as a team! I am so thankful that God has blessed us with the ability for me to stay home for a while- I wouldn't miss these days with my girl for ANYTHING!
Other Toller family news- Matt is now doing Real Estate full time now. No more swinging a hammer! This is an awesome opportunity for him and he is loving every minute of it!

The Baby is HERE!

Here are some more pictures of the little lady! Because of the quickness of the labor we were unable to even get an IV hooked up before she was born so we have to stay 48 hours to monitor Rae. But my doctor said that as soon as she gets the ok to go we are good to go! We are both doing VERY well! I am obviously sore but feeling well. We were actually able to get some sleep last night! She is starting to get the hang of feeding as well- we are a good team! We are just VERY excited to go home so that Rae can see her home and meet her proud big brother Caeman! Thanks to everyone for coming to see us! We feel VERY loved from the steady flow of company!

Welcome Katien Rae

Our beach baby arrived yesterday at 1:49pm weighing 7 pounds 4 ounces, 20 inches long. Here she is! By the time we got to the hospital, Katey was already 7 cm dialated, and 25 minutes later, Rae was here!

So- I had no clue that one of my favorite parts about living at the beach during the winter would be surfing! But it sure is! No- I'm not 9 months pregnant and surfing- so don't worry!
Matt and I have ALWAYS wanted a house that is really open and homey for people to enjoy. This house has TOTALLY become that! We have had a steady influx of friends this winter who crazily enough will agree to go surfing with Matt! Here are some pictures of the Winter Wetsuit Fun at our house!

FINALLY Full Term!

Man- in many ways it seems like just yesterday that we saw those two red lines on the pregnancy test but in others it feels like FOREVER ago! The cool thing is as of this week I am full term! Today we went to the doctor and I think it hit Matt that in no time at all we would be parents! As we were leaving he just kept saying- we're gunna have a baby really soon! :) Other than that our lives are busy! We spent Christmas and New Year's at home which really helped to make Virginia Beach our new home! Our house is finally our home- just in time to bring Rae home!
